Prof. Enrico Gragnoli, Lecturer of the Faculty of Law of the University of Parma, promoted the research project STEPUP PROTECTION, funded by the European Union, carried out with the participation of SNSPA – National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (Romania), the Portuguese Catholic University (Portugal), the University of Granada (Spain) and the University of Vilnius (Lithuania). The initiative arose following recent European legislative interventions on “Transnational posting of the workforce”,  interventions aimed at avoiding the phenomenon of salary dumping of staff in the transnational context, through unfair forms of competition to the detriment of posted workers.
